XOXO-Authentique's Crush

Hi all! Denise here to share a couple of Valentine's Day projects using Authentique Crush Collection.
The first is a step card. I have shared the steps on how to make it below-or you can use your own as well. You can find them all over the internet.
Here is the card we'll be making:

You will need:
Cardstock
Coordinating papers
Scorer
Trimmer
Embellies/flowers etc.

Start with a 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 sheet of cardstock

Using the paper cutter/trimmer line up your cardstock at the 3" mark. Begin cutting at 1" and cut to 6 1/2".

Next, score the larger (2 1/2") side at 4 1/4" . Flip over and score the other side at 1", 2", 3 1/4" 4 1/2" and 6 1/2"
Sorry for the poor quality pic on this one. Tried several times to get a decent photo..ugh!

Begin the folding process by folding the larger side first.

The fold the other side like an accordion. Decorate as you like!

I had fun decorating! The Crush collection has some really cute images that you can fussy cut. The Prima flowers were a perfect fit!

This collection is soo cute I just had to make a Valentine's Day tag as well! On this tag I used Bo Bunny Laser Cut Tags in 2 different ways on this one. For the one on the tag, I misted with 13 arts Mists. For the other I used it as chippie embellies to layer on my tag. Just cut them up and stick them here and there for some added texture!

Here is my tag. You can see where I added the chippies. And I LOVE the pink washi tape! So fun! The quote on the bottom and the gold heart are overlays from Simple Stories. I love these because you can use as is or cut them to shape. Perfect for cards, tags and layouts!!
