O' Christmas Tree

Today is tree decorating around our house and maybe some online shopping at Pages in Time since the hubby's working all day!

Over at Pages we all were asked to send in a Christmas Card to Karen's store for her to display. (How cool is that?) This is my take:

This was made using Graphic 45 Christmas past pp and an old music sheet I just printed out over the internet. I used some gold lace ribbon which I found at your local WalMart and red buttons to accent. Edge the border of the card with a lacy border punch and put a strip of matching pp inside. Some Basic Grey Chocolate Chipboard letters, and then added Christmas Red Stickles to add some shine.

New DT Challenge

For the new DT, Karen gave us a challenge to make a card, tag or LO using her new logo (designed by Amarilys) and this is mine. I wanted to use each of our profile pictures to design a lo. It's my first DT and I'm pretty excited to be part of such an AMAZING team of talent!! So I want to always remember this!!

I used My Minds Eye pp, Prima flowers, Pink Say it in Crystals, Tim Holtz Vintage Photo ink, some pearls and Making Memories mini roses, and a touch of Graphic 45 ;)

Heritage Mini Album

Now I am working on a mini album for my Mother in law for Christmas. Most of it will be her and my Father in law..aka..."Bump". Lots of inking edges on this to make it look old. I also love using the lacy border punches. I am going to post some how to's soon too.

Picniked photo

My dsd took this picture of my other dsd, I really liked how she used Picnick to alter the photo. I use it alot also. She wanted me to do a LO using her picture so here is what I did:

The flourishes are from the Home Accents Cricut Cartridge. I got the flowers at WalMart and just inked them with Tim Holtz Rust ink.

I'm also working on Christmas cards and tags. I like doing my own as do most of my scrapbooking buddies. Here is my take on a Tim Holtz tag I saw once. I made a matching card to go with it. Lots of inking and stamping.

More Bags for Christmas!

Christmas Bags

Been working on Christmas bags..since the season is coming up fast!

For these bags, I just bought plain bags at your local Walmart or Kmart. Inked the edges first, and then used my Cricut machine to cut out the most of the patterns. I drew some by hand. Added Stickles for a glittery effect.

The Sisters

Every few months or so I make my girls take a picture together. I think it's a good way I can see how much they're growing...and it gives me more LO's to do!! This is the most recent.

I used a pattern I have to do the outer edge of the pp. Tim Holtz masks (LOVE THEM) and grungeboard. The stamp on the pp is embossed. Not too much to this one. It's a pretty simple LO but I think it turned out ok.

Speaking of Vintage

This LO is one I did for a Song Lyric Challenge at Pages in Time. These are my grandparents who pretty much were like my mom and dad. They were amazing people who did amazing things for others, but never bragged or boasted about them. They were very humble and trusted in God completely! This layout was pretty hard for me to do since I still miss them so much. Thanks for taking a peek.

I used Graphic 45 pp, Tim Holtz Vintage Photo ink, Prima flowers and my Martha Stewart lace punch. the ribbon is some I just picked up at Michaels. The wings are Tim Holtz Grungeboard Elements (plain)

Halloween Party Rocked!

Well the party at the center was a big hit as far as I'm concerned! I thought the kids and staff had a really good time! I am also so thankful for all the help I's a big job putting something like that together. For this party I was a Dark Fairy...

For trick or treating..Gary and I were Little Red Riding Hood and the Big Bad Wolf. It was a blast! We went out to West Acres Mall in Fargo and we had alot of people asking to take pictures with us. Faith got to trick or treat throughout the mall first, then we went through Mammas neighborhood...

Now just have to find the time this week to start scrapping all these cool pictures!
